Privacy policy
This policy explains what y2konline collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Your email address and sign-in details — if you sign in with Google or Facebook, the name and email address they share with us. Everything you add to your profile, such as your display name, avatar and bio. What you post: diary entries, wishes, forum posts, replies, comments and likes. What you send through the help form: your message, the page you sent it from, your browser, and your email address if you give one. Emails you send to our support address, with your email address. Basic technical data, such as your browser and the pages you visit.
How we use it
To run your account and show your homepage and posts, to protect the site from spam and abuse, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
Services we use
Supabase (database and sign-in, hosted in Tokyo), Vercel (website hosting), Cloudflare (chat and game servers), Resend (sign-up and password emails), Zoho Mail (our support mailbox, hosted in the EU), Google Analytics (visit statistics), and Google or Facebook when you choose to sign in with them. Pictures and YouTube videos embedded in forum posts load from their own sites. These services handle data only to provide their service to us.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language and theme. Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits; for visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland these analytics cookies are off by default.
Chat rooms
Chat messages are passed between members in real time and are never stored on our servers.
Private diary entries
Diary entries you mark as private can be read by you only.
Your choices and deleting your data
You can edit or delete your profile and posts at any time. To delete your whole account and everything in it, sign in and go to Edit profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Age
